I've never really been out for New Year's before, I've always just stayed at home and watched the ball drop on tv, which was fine when I was a kid, and when I was all alone, but now I have a boyfriend, and it's time to party. We sort of did last year, but we didn't because while at his boss's party, he had a little too much to drink and he spent the night throwing up in their bathroom and I spent the night taking care of him and cleaning up the vomit.

So this year we decided to go out and live it up. So I headed up to his place Friday and met him at work (a tanning salon) where I got sunless tanning done by him, and his friend sprayed him (on top of his existing tan). (this explains our 'healthy glows in the new pics I posted, be sure to check those out). The spray tanning has to stay on at least 6hrs so it can set into your skin, and since it was like 8pm when we had ours done, we just slept that way. In the morning, we washed up, had a little 'fun', got ready and headed to LA to meet up with my bro (g-spot on myspace) and our friend Jessy. On our way we stopped off at CPK in Pasadena for lunch and then we arrived at m brother's apt and got ready to go out.

We decided that a cab would be best, that way we wouldn't have to worry aboutdrinking and driving (we're such thinkers!). It was still pretty early when we arrived in West Hollywood, so we took that time to actually figure out what we were going to do, sinceall we had actually planned one was 'going out to West Hollywood'. We walked around a bit and decided the old stand by RAGE was the best bet, they had at least decorated for New Year's. So we bought our tickets and headed to the abbey (as it was only like 8 and RAGE wasn't a club as of yet). So we bought some drinks, And I'm not much of a drinker, but I had peach mojito once that I liked, so I figured I'd try something along those lines. I got a pineapple mojito, which was disgusting. So then I got a strawberry martini, also disgusting. I then just an apple martini and even that wasn't tasting right to me, but I had that one anyways.

So we're laughing and drinking and taking innappropriate pictures, cause we're all models you know, and these 3 girls ask my boyfriend to take their picture, and we start talking with Megan, who was super nice. She tells us that her 2 friends used to be straight and are now a raging lesbian couple. as we talk with Megan, we realize her frinds are in the corner basically having sex, and none of us wanted to see it (they weren't ugly, but me no likely the girly parts). So then they come over and it turns out they're both kinda drunk, especially the once who kept using our table (one of those tall ones you just stand at) to keep herself from falling over. Which lead to her knocking over my boyfriend's apple martini, which spilled all down the side of me. All on my ne FCUK jacket that I just got for xmas from my BF and down the side of my se7en jeans, stupid drunk lesbian!!! Neeedless to say, I wasn't her biggest fan. So they stumbled off, we finished our drinks and headed to RAGE. I dumped my coat in the coat check (for which I payed $5 and my bro only $3, unfair? I think so!), and then we began dancing. My BF is a great dancer so it's always fun with him, and my brother and Jessy (our hag for the night) danced with eachother and some randome people throughout the night. I was kinda naughty, my BF was dancing with some hag so I was just kinda dancing by myself and this guy started dancing with me, which had never happend before, so I was like whatever, he wasn't hideous. So we danced and then made out a little, by his initiation, not mine. And of course I felt horrible and told my BF immediately, and he says "it's ok, it's actually kinda hot, like watching porn, starring you". The guy and I danced for awhile more and then I brought my BF into the mix, and apparently the guy had no interest in him and would move to dance with me, whatever. So I wanted to dance with my BF, but not be mean, so I danced facing away from the guy, and finally one of his friend's showed up and they went off togther. Then they did the countdown, and the BF and I made out a bit at the count of zero, and then we all danced till 2. I think in total we danced like 4hrs, quite the workout.

The next day we all felt well enough to go to lunch at Mel's, where I mistankingly ordered the Chicken Pot Pie, which had an orange (as in color, not flavor) crust to it. It was aptly called Oompa Loompa skin, and I was pretty much done with it. After dropping my bro and Jessy back off at their building, we headed back to my BF's house, where I was pretty much immediatley struck with a fever, the chills a headache and body aches upon arrival. I ended up staying at his house an extra two days, luckily, having him to take care of me. He was so sweet, he drew me baths,. brought me medicine, but a cold wash cloth on my forehead and kept it cool. I believe the cold was Karma's way of punishing me for kissing the guy at RAGE, and it is rightly deserved. Fortunately for me, my Bf is the sweetest, most caring, most understanding guy.

Spice Up Your Life

So, as always, it's been awhile. I could promise to write more often, but we all know it's a hollow promise. Anyways, what have I been up to? Let's see . . .


Last weekend, Sven, Vitamin G, JR and I went out to West Hollywood to meet VG's new match Patty O' Green (I just came up with that, he's now named after a color kid from Rainbow Brite). So we went to the Abbey, where I decided to give into peerpressure and have a drink, so I ordered a Vodka Redbull. Now, when Sven had ordered his at Rage, they were tiny, but this one was HUGE. So I drank that, and pretty fast I might add, and Then I got an Apple Martini. A few sips later, I was feeling kinda dizzy, so we found a table to sit at, all the meanwhile, VG and Patty O' G were getting aquainted. I was pretty much drunk off of the vodka redbull, so the apple just added to it. After a little while longer, we headed to Rage to dance. But first Sven, JR and I ran our jackets back to the car while VG, Patty and his friends headed to Rage. We get to Rage and once in we start dancing, and what's the first song they play? Soice Girls "Spice Up Your Life", I as an enormous Spice fan go crazy (plus I'm a little wasted), and I totally busted out the moves from Spiceworld: The Movie. It was fun, and probably incredibly sad. So we danced, and laughed and had a great time. i got another apple, not that I needed it, and when I ordered, I asked for no pucker, but I think the bartender thought I asled for pucker, and he got ll excited and was going on about something. It was loud, so it was hard to unerstand him, plus, I was kinda drunk, so I didn't really care, lol. At somepoint, JR comes up and is all "I threw up all over the handicap stall in the girl's room, and then asked a lesbian for gum" to which we laughed histerically, becaus eit was fucking funny, especially since I was drunk.

So at closing, we all head to the car, with Sven leading us, cause he's the only non-drunk one, as G and Patty were too (Patty came home with G, OOOOH the scandal!). I remember the whole night, but the car ride seemed to only last 5 minutes, Not so for Sven. After we got home, I rememebr changing into my pjs and Sven telling me to go to bed, so I did. As doon as my head hit the pillow, I was out. I think I woke up around 12, but I felt like crap. I layed in bed for along time and then Sven helped me up to the bathroom so I could shower, and then I threw up. In the toilet. But only twice, and I felt a bot better after that. Sven, being the best boyfriend that he is, ran a bath for me and then I showered, got ready and we went to pasadena and had lunch at Cheesecake Factory, which was delicious. We then stopped off at Urban Outfitters so I could find a White Elephant gift for ML's and Work's Holiday parties. I found a silver vacum metal cuckoo clock, it was perfect.

After that, Sven and I headed back to his place to change and go to ML's party. We ended up being late because of traffic, so we bsically missed the White Elephant exchange, but whatev.

It's been pretty boring since then Work, which isn't sucky, but just uneverntful, unless you count the fact that I don't get to go as uneventful. I was filling in for someone on maternity leave and she came back on londay the 19th, which means I don't have a job anymore. I am really going to miss my coworkers, they were great, especially cc, she was the best. Hopefully one day I'll be bakc there, until then, it's on the hunt for another job, yay. The good thing is I did get to see Sven this weekend, and that was fun. We spent the whole weekend together and saw Brokeback Mountain at the Grove on Sunday. It was really good, and So sad, I cried a little. I held back though, cause I didn't want to have and ugly cry. Before hand, we had a delicious meal at Maggiano's.

So that's that, I've posted,so get off my back!

Hung Up

So I have returned to the world of blogging, I know, it was a miserable existence without me, but fear not, I am back.

So let's see, where to begin. I guess I'll start with my new job, which is fantastic, but unfortunately coming close to an end as I am just a temp. I'm currently looking for more work within the company, so jere's hoping! I'm really having fun right now as we are working on a new line of products and I've been able to do a lot of designing, so that's really a lot of fun.

There was the blog party at Vitamin G (Go Banana)'s place, which was so much fun. We had subway courtesy of vitamin g and homemade cookies courtesy of kq (they were so yummers!) At one point I laughed so hard I made a squeaking noise because I couldn't get enough air, thus earning me the honor of being squeak in y's blog. I met y, ml, and I already knew kq, ka, jr and sven.

On Thursday I went to ka's b-day party, which was loads of fun, and I got to see ml and y again, yay!

And on Saturday vitaming, jr, sven and I went to Rage in West Hollywood for a night of dancing. I haven't been to a club in forever (well, like 2 years). We danced our little hearts out and we went crazy when they played Madonna's Hung up (which they did a total of 3 times), and they played sven's favorite off her new album, Sorry, which we again went crazy for, after all, she is our GL (glorious leader). We danced, laughed, danced, I got burned by a cigarette, danced, and before we knew it, it was 2 am. By the time we got back to vg's place we were all exhausted, but it was so worth it. I think I slept until 12 the next day. Sven was up at like 7 because he didn't sleep very well, and when I woke up, he wa sall showered. So I quickly got ready and Sven and I headed to Mel's on sunset for a delicious lunch (well, breakfast for me) . I had an omlette, sven his veggie burger and a salad and we shared onion rings and cheese fries. And for dessert, he had a banana milkshake and I a strawberry one, it was heaven. Sven and I decided we need to go dancing more often.


So yeah, that was pretty boring, but I'm finding my groove (kinda like stella) so hopefully next time, I'll be more comical and clever. I'm going to see Kathy Griffin this week, so I will be sure to share the hilariousness! Thanks for stopping by!

New Job and Blog title change

Ok, so I finally got a new job, well, a job to be exact, since I wasn't really making it as a freelancer. So YAY! I'm extremely excited. I could start as early as Thursday, but definitely by Monday. I have to give a big thanks to Vitatwin (Go Banana) for helping me out in that department, THANKS!

I hope to try and post more, I figure now I might actually have something to talk about. And as an added challenge to myself, I'll be using song names (which will be the song of the blog) as the titles of my blogs and incorporating the title into my blog entry somehow. I know, you're all super intrigued and can't wait to see how I do it!

So yeah, it's been awhile, a long while, and I know like only 2 people, and possibly a timber company (see previous post's comments for that spam) care, but I really should post more.This post is sort of a restart I suppose, a quickie to get things going. I do have lots to tell, so hopefully I'll be posting more often. But, while I can't promise I'll try, I'll try to try.

Berry Hotpocket

Today Vitamin G came down to switch cars, as he had mine and I had his because the brake pads in his needed to be replaced and he borrowed my car while his was being fixed.

We went to a couple of different stores looking for fun new things, I didn't find anything, but G bought a toy and something for KQ. We did see the new toys KQ did the packaging for, and come to think of it, I meant to purchase them, oh well. It's not like I'll never go to Toys "R" Us again, I practically live there anyways. (BTW, it looks super cool KQ, I LOVE the handle). After that we went to Olive Garden, which is oh so delicous. We shared the new appetizer smoked gouda fotuda (or something like that), it's cheesy goodness. tehn came soup and then our meals. I had the fettucine alfredo, yum yum! and G had the tour of italy. For dessert, G ordered their new berry thing and I ordered my favorite, teh Berry Crostada, or as Sven and I call it, The Berry Hotpocket. It is SO good, and it comes with vanilla ice cream with a delicous rasperry sauce drizzled on top. I get and I am so excited an dthen I realize it looks different somehow, the stupid waitress put hot fudge and caramel on it! WHAT THE FUCK? Is she sick in the head? What on earth would posses someone to do such a HANEOUS thing to a perfectly delicious dessert? She ruined it for me, I was so upset I almost cried, seriously, ask Vitamin G. It was so traumatic, I complained the whole time. She ruined it! Why, why, why?!? She was evil incarnate I tell you. she ruined what was a perfectly delightful meal, I hope she can sleep at night knowing she;s a dessert wrecker.

Nancy Drew, I *Heart* You!

I warn you, you may not find any of this interesting. I do, and maybe you will, let's just have a go at it shall we?

Today Sven came over and we went to Disneyland, after stopping to have lunch at Olive Garden, which was so delicious. We tried the new gouda cheese fondu (YUM!), and I had tehir new baked Zita, which was also yummers. Sven had his usual, the manicotti, which is alway super nummers.

We got to D-Land and we went into the MAgic Kingdom first to rent a locker for our stuff, and then we were going to head over to California Adventure, which we call California-Land. Well, we got side-tracked when we went to go get fast passes for Space Mountain (they had given out all of teh fast passes for the day), so we decided to get fast passes for Buzz Lightyear and then wait in line for Space Mountain. They did some really cool redesigning on the inside of the mountain (the line part) and the ride was super fun. The music was cool, and it didn't dissapoint. After Space Mountain, We rode Alice In Wonderland, as it is our little ritual to always do that ride. We were going to get fast passes for Indiana Jones, but they weren't doing it, Pirates had a long line and so did Jungle Cruise, and since it was almost time for Buzz, we just headed over there. Buzz was super fun as usual. Afterwards wegrabbed our stuff from our locker, I exchanged a shirt for KQ (you're welcome) and we headed to California land. We went straight for Tower of Terror, which had a surprisingly short line. Our main reason for going was to see this worker Matt, who we fondly refer to as Matt Homosexual. He gets really into character and it's so ofunny, and last time we were there, we took a picture with him. But alas, Matt Homosexual was nowhere to be found. We were sad to say the least.

We headed out after that to miss the crowds and we stopped off at target so SVen could piick up some white strips and then we went to Starbucks. We Hung out in my room watching our new fav reality show on A&E, Dog The Bounty Hunter and then watched a little of the Girls Aloud DVD I just got.

Oh, wait, D-LAnd news bulletin: The Submarines will be a Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage ride coming in 2007, and in California land, that Superstar Limo ride is turning into a Monsters Inc Ride coming January 2006.

Now, on to a topic related to the titled. I love Nancy Drew. I've liked reading about Nancy for a long Time now, I have a ton of her books, and while at The Comic-Con Vitamin G bought me the new graphic novels, whiched re-sparked my love for Miss Drew. I went to Barnes and Noble and bought the first new Super Mystery, and this one is cool because Nancy is Missing, so it's up to her friends to find her. I t wa scool to have the story told from a different point of view. I alos bought "Thor Son Of Asgard Book 2: Worthy" another graphic novel, and a new book from the series Fearless. I found out the series ended with book 36, and now it's starting a new with the main character joining the FBI. But, I need to read books 23-36 before I can read my new one, but first I have to finish the 2 books I'm half way through with, Ellen's first book and Victoria beckham's autobiography.

Anyways, I was thinking about how Veronica Mars is basically Nancy Drew, only edgier, so I can see why I like Veronica so much, it's like Nancy Drew the TV series, yay!

Hmm, for some reason I thought I had something more in-depth to say about that, oh well.

I also learned that Hasbro has major plans for their Jem line. We won't see anything this year, but next year for sure, so super YAY!!

I alos found ther new Trollz dolls, but I'll save that for next time.
